Freshly judge whether a finished change and its claims meet original acceptance: PASS, FAIL or NOT_PROVEN. Use when: asked for a go/no-go, sign-off or independent verdict.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Validate Freshly judge one finished candidate against its original acceptance, return `PASS`, `FAIL`, or `NOT_PROVEN` with criterion-level evidence, and stop. Neighbours: advice or a second look is [Review](../review/SKILL.md); whether a stated claim holds is [Research](../research/SKILL.md#claimed-state-audit). This file carries every rule the judgment needs. Linked files, including [RPI boundaries](../rpi/references/boundaries.md) and [mechanics](references/mechanics.md), add depth only: if one cannot be read, judge from this file and say which was unavailable. ## Rules that decide the verdict - The author cannot issue a binding PASS, and advisory findings, such as a Review or Council report, cannot stand in for this judgment: test them as claims. An author's summary, confidence or assurance is a claim to check, not evidence; explanation alone is not proof. - Each criterion needs its own evidence on the exact candidate. A criterion nobody demonstrated goes in `not_checked` and never counts toward PASS. - A changed test, tolerance, golden, suppression or acceptance text must still satisfy the original intent. How to install
mdr add boshu2/agentops/validate@sha256:e62ddb9442409e58The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261026.1b5f59a, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
