Reference material with the canonical task-format grammar and decomposition rules for plan-to-tasks expansion. Loaded on demand by `generate-tasks`; not directly invokable.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. # Task Generation Guide
## Task Format (REQUIRED)
Every task MUST strictly follow this format:

`[VERIFY: <command>]` is optional and **repeatable** (zero or more; typically 0–3). It appends after `→ exports:` (and after `[COMPLETES ...]`). The command text runs from `[VERIFY:` to the next `]` and MUST NOT contain a literal `]` — move such checks into a verify script and reference it when needed.
### Format Components
1. **Checkbox**: Always `- [ ]` (markdown checkbox)
2. **Task ID**: Sequential (T001, T002...) in execution order
3. **`[P]` marker**: Only if parallelizable (different files, no dependencies)
4. **`[US#|OBJ#]` label**: Required for delivery phases only
- Product specs use `[US#]` for user story phases
- Technical and operational specs use `[OBJ#]` for objective phases
- Setup/Foundational phases: NO work-item label
- Polish phase: NO story label
5. **`{(FR|TR|OR|RR)-###}` tag**: Links task to the requirement(s) it implements

How to install
mdr add attilaszasz/sdd-pilot/task-generation@sha256:33d267f1d45bfe40The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260811.46fe327, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
