Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Kubernetes Guidance
- Manage cluster state through Flux manifests in this repository; do not edit live resources directly.
- Match nearby applications and components before introducing a new pattern.
- Validate Kubernetes or mixed changes with `bash .agents/skills/pr-review/scripts/validate-pr.sh` before declaring work complete.
- Read [learned workspace facts](../.agents/learned-workspace.md) only when its trigger keywords match the task.
- Use `${SECRET_DOMAIN}` for URLs; never hardcode domains.
- Use YAML anchors only within one `---` document; Kustomize does not resolve anchors across documents.
- Store secrets with SOPS; never commit plaintext secrets or `age.key`.
- Use lowercase-dash Kubernetes names. Applications live under `kubernetes/apps/<namespace>/<app>/`; follow peer layouts and include `ks.yaml`.
- Ask before applying or reconciling live resources or decrypting or editing SOPS secrets.Read the whole file at its exact version.
How to install
mdr add tanguille/cluster/kubernetes/AGENTS.md@sha256:2410c2347ff7d076The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260711.cf41e08, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
