Build Celigo MCP server resources -- endpoints that expose Tools and builder-mode APIs to external AI agents and MCP clients. Use when creating MCP servers, linking tools or APIs, or configuring annotations and overrides.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
<!-- TIER:1 --> # Building MCP Servers An MCP server is a **Model Context Protocol endpoint** that exposes Celigo Tools and builder-mode APIs as callable tools for external AI agents and MCP clients. Concerns when building an MCP server: - **Endpoint identity** -- unique `relativeURI` that forms the server's URL path - **Tool selection** -- which Tool resources to expose, each with an MCP-compatible name - **API selection** -- which builder-mode API resources to expose (script-mode APIs are not supported) - **Annotations** -- MCP-standard behavior hints (`readOnlyHint`, `destructiveHint`, `idempotentHint`, `openWorldHint`) that help AI agents decide when and how to call a tool - **Overrides** -- per-server customization of a tool's connections, exports, imports, and routers without modifying the underlying tool definition - **Name uniqueness** -- tool names must be unique across all `tools[]` and `apis[]` entries within the server …

How to install
mdr add celigo/ai/building-mcp-servers@sha256:cef666cb9123642bThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261017.e0e159f, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
