Inspect a single skill in the library, reason about high-value low-risk improvements, and apply them directly. Used by the Skill Refresher workflow and invocable directly as /improve-skill <skill-name>.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

Designed for the Skill Refresher workflow that improves a random skill every day, but also useful when a human points it at a specific skill that seems weak. ## Prerequisites - Working directory is the root of the `tomzx/agents` repository (the skill library root) - `$1` — the name of the skill directory under `skills/` to improve (e.g. `git-commit`) - The target skill exists at `skills/$1/SKILL.md` ## What Counts as an Improvement Keep only improvements that are high-value and low-risk. How to install
mdr add tomzx/agents/improve-skill@sha256:83a09d3799fca7b1The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261007.b35fc4b, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
