Automatically invoke when CI checks fail on a PR. Do NOT wait for the user to ask; invoke as soon as a CI failure is confirmed. Reads session handoffs and a known-issues log so failed fixes aren't retried. Trigger on: "CI is failing", "red checks", "GitHub Actions failed", "fix CI".
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
## When to invoke (auto-trigger) Invoke automatically whenever: - The user mentions CI is failing, red, or blocked - `gh pr checks` shows a failure - A push triggers a failed workflow run Do NOT invoke for: local test failures (use `test-fix` instead), lint-only failures with an obvious single-line fix. # Self-Healing CI Pipeline with Handoff Memory ## When to Use This Skill Use this skill when: - CI checks are failing on a PR - You want to avoid repeating previously failed fix attempts - You need systematic CI debugging with context preservation - Multiple CI check types are failing (lint, tests, build, etc.) ## Critical Setup This skill requires a `.handoff/` directory structure: ``` .handoff/ ├── latest.md # Most recent session handoff └── known-issues.md # Persistent log of failed approaches ``` If these don't exist, the skill will create them on first run. ## Pipeline Steps ### Phase 1: Ingest Context (Before ANY Action) 1. **Read the handoff file** ```bash cat .handoff/latest.md ``` This contains: - What was tried in the previous session - What worked and what didn't - Current branch state - Open questions or blockers …

How to install
mdr add jerseycheese/agent-skills/ci-fix-with-memory@sha256:12c5a5627f6d7ac1The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261016.04e815b, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
