React renderer for json-render that turns JSON specs into React components. Use when working with @json-render/react, building React UIs from JSON, creating component catalogs, or rendering AI-generated specs.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# @json-render/react
React renderer that converts JSON specs into React component trees.
## Quick Start
```typescript
import { defineRegistry, Renderer } from "@json-render/react";
import { catalog } from "./catalog";
const { registry } = defineRegistry(catalog, {
components: {
Card: ({ props, children }) => <div>{props.title}{children}</div>,
},
});
function App({ spec }) {
return <Renderer spec={spec} registry={registry} />;
}
```
## Creating a Catalog
```typescript
import { defineCatalog } from "@json-render/core";
import { schema } from "@json-render/react/schema";
import { defineRegistry } from "@json-render/react";
import { z } from "zod";
// Create catalog with props schemas
export const catalog = defineCatalog(schema, {
components: {
Button: {
props: z.object({
label: z.string(),
variant: z.enum(["primary", "secondary"]).nullable(),
}),
description: "Clickable button",
},
Card: {
props: z.object({ title: z.string() }),
description: "Card container with title",
},
},
});
// Define component implementations with type-safe props
const { registry } = defineRegistry(catalog, {
components: {
How to install
mdr add pskoett/pmx-canvas/json-render-react@sha256:359d0dca91d96821The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260401.0f16486, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
