Build a small throwaway podcast wiki from 3 bundled sample transcripts, in about 2 minutes, with no Spotify, Whisper or Apple Silicon needed. Use on /podcast-wiki:demo, or when the user wants to try Podcast Wiki before setting it up.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Try Podcast Wiki on sample episodes
The samples are 3 short **fictional** transcripts from two made-up shows, written for this demo. They're at `${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/plugin/demo/samples/`. Two episodes overlap on testing and code review, and their guests disagree about writing tests first. That way the demo shows what the real thing does: topic pages that merge episodes, and a Disagreements section.
Everything happens in a separate `podcast-wiki-demo/` folder, so nothing touches a real wiki.
## 1. Create the demo folder
If `podcast-wiki-demo/` already exists, ask before replacing it. Then:
```bash
D=podcast-wiki-demo
mkdir -p $D/tools $D/raw/demo $D/wiki/{concepts,hubs,episodes,people,shows,takeaways}
cp "${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/CLAUDE.md" $D/
cp "${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/tools/lint_wiki.py" $D/tools/
cp "${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}"/plugin/demo/samples/*.md $D/raw/demo/
printf '# Index\n' > $D/wiki/index.md
printf '# Ingest log\n' > $D/wiki/log.md
printf '# To try\n' > $D/wiki/takeaways/to-try.md
printf '# Recommendations\n' > $D/wiki/takeaways/recommendations.md
```
## 2. Build the wiki
…Read the whole file at its exact version.
How to install
mdr add hagaihen/podcast-wiki/demo@sha256:4b5f959497ba8834The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261008.1ba1193, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
