# /orient:sync Reconcile the docs with what actually changed. Which file depends on the branch (ADR-0021). Resolve the docs directory from `CLAUDE_PLUGIN_OPTION_DOCS_DIR` (default `docs`). ## Which branch is the default `git symbolic-ref --short refs/remotes/<remote>/HEAD`, else a local `main`, else `master`, where `<remote>` is this branch's upstream remote, or `origin`. With no remote and none of those, the current branch is the default, so a solo repo behaves as it always did. If `git branch --show-current` is empty (detached HEAD, mid-rebase), write nothing and say why. ## On any other branch: the branch note (ADR-0021) Write only `<docs_dir>/state/<file>.md`. Never touch `STATE.md` or `architecture.md` here; merging alone changes nothing shared. Shape: `templates/branch-note.md`. - `<file>` is the branch name with `/` as `-` and only `[A-Za-z0-9._-]` kept. The note's `# ` header holds the exact branch name and is its identity: if the file exists with a different branch in its header, use `<file>-2.md`, then `-3`, and so on. - `Focus:` is this branch's focus in one line. How to install
mdr add chaitanya299/orient/sync@sha256:725d634b3e96b8b6The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261027.cfd0be0, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
