# Business Skill Index Find guidance through a small directory, a scenario shortlist, and one selected skill's metadata file. The collection covers 62 skills across 18 scenarios. It stores routing information and pinned addresses, not upstream skill bodies. ## Read only the relevant branch 1. Match the requested work product or business event first, then its audience and available evidence; use job titles and industry as context. For example, onboarding a new employee belongs to hiring even when the employee works in customer success; onboarding a customer belongs to customer success. Honor a user-supplied template or required structure. Skip discovery when a narrow edit or conversion already has everything it needs. 2. Open the [domain and scenario directory](references/skill-index.md). It lists scenario files, not all skills. Read the best-matching scenario shortlist; compare a second shortlist only if the requested work product is ambiguous. 3. How to install

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
