Build AI phone agents with AgentPhone API. Use when the user wants to make phone calls, send/receive SMS, manage phone numbers, create voice agents, set up webhooks, or check usage — anything related to telephony, phone numbers, or voice AI.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. ## How It Works
AgentPhone lets you create AI agents that can make and receive phone calls and SMS messages. Here's the full lifecycle:
1. You sign up at [agentphone.to](https://agentphone.to) and get an API key
2. You create an **Agent** — this is the AI persona that handles calls and messages
3. You buy a **Phone Number** and attach it to the agent
4. You configure a **Webhook** (for custom logic) or use **Hosted Mode** (built-in LLM handles the conversation)
5. Your agent can now make outbound calls, receive inbound calls, and send/receive SMS

How to install
mdr add vm0-ai/vm0-skills/agentphone@sha256:b44efb56edf88b78The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260812.68f64b6, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
