Peer debate with an external reviewer model (Codex CLI by default; Claude Code or Antigravity on request) on any technical question. Both think independently, challenge each other, converge to consensus or explicit disagreement.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Think About ## Purpose Peer reasoning, not code review: you and the reviewer analyze a technical question independently, challenge each other, and converge to consensus or an explicit disagreement. Both sides may research, read code, run commands, and try things out to check a claim. ## When to Use - Decisions and tradeoffs: architecture, technology choice, design, approach. - Investigations: why something fails, how a system behaves, whether a design holds up, what a change would break. - Any reasoning you want challenged before acting on it. Not for reviewing a written plan (`review-plan`), uncommitted changes, commits, or a branch (`review-impl`), or a PR (`review-pr`). When the request is one of those, say so and use that skill unless the user wants a debate. ## Sharpen the question first …

How to install
mdr add lploc94/cross-review/review-think@sha256:26a5415c868c17acThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261016.8439179, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
