Send an operational alert. Use when asked to send an alert, page, or notification.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. # Alert To send an alert, call the `notify` CLI: - Always pass `--channel ops`. Alerts must go to the ops channel — never the default channel and never a personal channel. - Pass the alert message as the final argument. Example: ``` notify --channel ops "disk almost full on web-01" ``` Never send an alert without `--channel ops`.

How to install

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
