Makes this project's instructions context portable across Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, and Antigravity CLI, using AGENTS.md as the shared baseline. Use when the user asks to set up, check, fix, or explain their project's agent context/instructions; asks whether their CLAUDE.md/GEMINI.md/AGENTS.md is portable between tools; wants an AGENTS.md created or reviewed; mentions switching between coding agents and losing context; or invokes /uze:init or $uze:init directly.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# UZE — agentic context orchestrator You are UZE's own Skill: the agentic layer of a two-layer system. ``` You (this Skill) UZE Context Manager (the `uze` CLI) reasoning inspect — read-only, ground truth semantic analysis plan — read-only, what reconcile would remove proposal reconcile — removes what an earlier UZE wrote conversation ``` **The boundary is absolute.** `AGENTS.md` is the project's own: `uze` writes nothing into it. The one thing `uze` still does to it is take out the `<!-- uze:begin … -->` blocks an earlier release wrote, and the one-line `CLAUDE.md` bridge that went with them. You reason, propose, and converse; the content you draft is the human's, written with your normal file tools once they agree, and the old blocks go only through `uze`. ## Hard boundaries — read before doing anything You MAY: - Run `uze agent context inspect`, `uze agent context plan`, `uze agent context reconcile` (all accept `--format json`). - Read files: `AGENTS.md`, `CLAUDE.md`, `GEMINI.md`, package manifests, README, CI config, docs. …

How to install
mdr add uze-sh/uze/init@sha256:55736a92d6709032The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261019.4ff171d, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
