srx-chassis-cluster-proxmox SKILL.md skillA
srx-chassis-cluster-proxmox from mechubsec/fwskillsshare is an agent skill: a SKILL.md folder an AI agent loads when a task calls for it.
mdr add mechubsec/fwskillsshare/srx-chassis-cluster-proxmox@v1.2.1Pins v1.2.1 in mdr.lock. Pin the fingerprint instead.

Build and validate a Juniper SRX or vSRX chassis cluster whose two nodes are Proxmox VE guests. Use when planning bridges and VLANs for the control and fabric links, mapping virtual NICs to Junos interface names, bootstrapping cluster-id, configuring fab interfaces, reth interfaces and redundancy groups, or diagnosing a cluster that forms but passes no traffic. Not for Multi-Node High Availability.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# SRX Chassis Cluster on Proxmox VE ## Contents - [Overview](#overview) - [Runtime intake](#runtime-intake) - [Before you start](#before-you-start) - [Procedure](#procedure) - [Validation](#validation) - [Common pitfalls](#common-pitfalls) - [Reference material](#reference-material) - [Source notes](#source-notes) ## Overview Chassis cluster joins two SRX nodes into one logical chassis: a shared configuration, active/backup control plane, redundancy groups that move ownership on failure, and reth interfaces carrying a virtual MAC. Juniper documents it for two physical appliances joined by real cables. On Proxmox VE the control link, the fabric link, and every reth leg are Linux bridge ports instead. That substitution is where clusters fail, and it fails quietly. Nothing logs "your bridge dropped this frame." The observable result is a cluster that forms and reports healthy while passing no traffic — or one that is genuinely misconfigured underneath while every health check on the device reports it as fine. …

How to install
mdr add mechubsec/fwskillsshare/srx-chassis-cluster-proxmox@sha256:4517677d69c59f6dThe line at the top of this page pins the label v1.2.1, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
