bench SKILL.md skillC
bench from geml-spec/geml is an agent skill: a SKILL.md folder an AI agent loads when a task calls for it.
mdr add geml-spec/geml/bench@git:20260907.bba95b8Pins git:20260907.bba95b8 in mdr.lock. Pin the fingerprint instead.

Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Writing GEML — one-page cheatsheet
GEML is plain text. Every structured thing is one **typed block**:
```
=== <type> {#id .class key=val}
<body>
===
```
The opening fence is **≥ 3** `=`. The **closing fence must be the same length**.
To nest a block inside a block, make the **outer fence longer**:
```
==== note
Example code:
=== code {lang=python}
print("hi")
===
====
```
**Easier — close by name.** Give a block an `#id` and close it with `=== #id`.
That closes by *name*, not by length, so you can nest with all `===` fences and
never miscount:
```
=== note {#ex}
Example code:
=== code {#snippet lang=python}
print("hi")
=== #snippet
=== #ex
```
Body modes: `code` / `diagram` / `math` / `table` / `embed` are **raw**;
`note` are **parsed prose**; `meta` is one `key=val` per line.
## Metadata
```
=== meta
title = "My doc"
version = 0.1
===
```
In prose, `{{title}}` inserts a meta value (an unknown key is a build **error**).
## Headings & lists (ATX only)
```
# Title ## Section {#explicit-id}
- bullet 1. ordered
- nested by indentation (2 spaces)
- [ ] task - [x] done
```
## Inline

How to install
mdr add geml-spec/geml/bench@sha256:6ff9621988db3a99The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260907.bba95b8, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
