Assess a codebase's architecture, stop when it is healthy, otherwise find deepening opportunities, design the chosen one, and hand a plan to /implement.

Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. # Improve Architecture

Explore a codebase, surface architectural friction, and propose **deepening opportunities**: refactors that turn shallow modules into deep ones, for testability and AI-navigability. Starts with an assessment: if the architecture is already healthy, say so and stop. Ends with a plan that `/implement` builds; this skill changes no code.

This skill is built on a shared vocabulary and informed by the project's domain model:

- Load and follow the `codebase-design` skill through the host's skill mechanism first. Use its terms exactly (**module**, **interface**, **depth**, **seam**, **adapter**, **leverage**, **locality**, **information leakage**) and don't drift into "component," "service," "API," or "boundary." Its `RED-FLAGS.md` names structural defects, its `DEEPENING.md` holds the dependency categories and seam discipline, and its `DESIGN-IT-TWICE.md` holds the parallel interface design.
- The domain language in `GLOSSARY.md` gives names to good seams; ADRs record decisions this skill should not re-litigate. `docs/agents/domain.md` gives where both live (by default `GLOSSARY.md` and `docs/adr/` at the root).

How to install

The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261018.f19c25a, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved.
