Conform an image that already exists to one of Apple's exact App Store screenshot sizes — resize, pad or crop, flatten alpha, write a validated PNG. Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. # Apple App Store screenshot formatter > **Conversational language:** talk to the user — questions, summaries, reports — in **the language the user writes in** — unless a `conversational language` is set in the hub `DATA.md` (`$APP_HUB/DATA.md`), which overrides it. This sets the *conversation* language only — content/deliverables follow the app's target locales. This skill turns an arbitrary image into a PNG that meets Apple's App Store Connect screenshot specifications. App Review rejects screenshots that are not exactly one of the accepted sizes for the target device, so the goal is to produce a file with **the exact pixel dimensions Apple expects**, in PNG or JPG, RGB (no alpha), with the original content presented sensibly when the aspect ratios do not match. ## Prerequisites - **Tools:** `Pillow` (`pip install --break-system-packages Pillow`) for `scripts/format_screenshot.py`; Python 3. - **Credentials:** none. - **Hub (`$APP_HUB`):** optional — output lands in `$APP_HUB/<slug>/media/apple/` when it exists, else in an `AppStoreMedia/` root beside the project. - **Other tracks:** none. ## Conversation flow …
