Search ~5M US legal provisions: federal and state statutes, regulations (CFR), session laws, agency decisions, guidance. Use when a task needs the text of a US law or rule, or obligations and penalties under it.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# DeepXiv · US Law (`us_law`) ~5M clause-level US legal provisions across 53 jurisdictions (synced daily since 10-15 as new eCFR and other text arrives; exact count in corpus). The open_us_law v2026.08 base: 2.12M statutes, 1.95M regulations (including CFR annual editions), 425k session laws, 258k agency decisions, 77k proposed regulations, 77k guidance documents, 53k court rules, 13k constitutional provisions. English and Chinese summaries, norm types, regulated parties, subjects, defined terms, penalties, deadlines and cross-references are extracted per provision (citations and figures checked against the text). How to install
mdr add deepxiv/deepxiv_sdk/deepxiv-fa-us-law@sha256:071a810939b710abThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261019.ec75048, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
