# Astrid Astrid is a client and pack toolkit for making creative work with a human. The workspace runtime owns projects, media, timelines, tasks, runs, receipts, and events. The checkout supplies the CLI, SDK, and capability packs; it is not the product database or a second run store. This `_core` directory is a manifestless gateway, not a runtime pack. Its authored guidance lives under `docs/` and is composed by Astrid's existing skill sync; pack-local `docs/SKILL.md` files are discovered from their declared manifest pointers. Choose the route by the requested result. How to install
mdr add banodoco/astrid-agent/astrid@sha256:5ace6176c06dd492The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261021.6b411f1, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
