Deploy web projects to Netlify using the Netlify CLI (`npx netlify`). Use when the user asks to deploy, host, publish, or link a site/repo on Netlify, including preview and production deploys.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Netlify Deployment Skill Deploy web projects to Netlify using the Netlify CLI with intelligent detection of project configuration and deployment context. ## When to Use Use this skill when the user wants to: - deploy a web project to Netlify - link an existing repo to a Netlify site - create preview or production deploys - troubleshoot Netlify CLI auth or site linking ## Usage Recommended flow: ```text verify auth -> detect linked site or create/link one -> install dependencies -> deploy preview first -> promote to production when ready ``` ## Overview This skill automates Netlify deployments by: - Verifying Netlify CLI authentication - Detecting project configuration and framework - Linking to existing sites or creating new ones - Deploying to production or preview environments ## Prerequisites - **Netlify CLI**: Installed via npx (no global install required) - **Authentication**: Netlify account with active login session - **Project**: Valid web project in current directory - When sandboxing blocks the deployment network calls, rerun with `sandbox_permissions=require_escalated`. - The deployment might take a few minutes. Use appropriate timeout values. …

How to install
mdr add seaworld008/commonly-used-high-value-skills/netlify-deploy@sha256:61b3aa40783a4cf6The line at the top of this page pins the label v1.0.0, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
