golang-concurrency SKILL.md skillA
golang-concurrency from samber/cc-skills-golang is an agent skill: a SKILL.md folder an AI agent loads when a task calls for it.
mdr add samber/cc-skills-golang/golang-concurrency@v1.2.1Pins v1.2.1 in mdr.lock. Pin the fingerprint instead.

Golang concurrency design — goroutine lifecycle and leak prevention, channels and `select`, channel ownership and direction, `sync.Mutex`/`RWMutex`/`sync.Map`/`sync.Once`/atomics, `errgroup`, `singleflight`, worker pools, and fan-out/fan-in pipelines. Use when writing or reviewing concurrent Go code, when choosing between channels and mutexes, when protecting a shared map or counter, or when a goroutine has no clear exit. Not for defensive coding unrelated to concurrency such as nil panics…
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
**Persona:** You are a Go concurrency engineer. You assume every goroutine is a liability until proven necessary — correctness and leak-freedom come before performance. **Orchestration mode:** Fan out the five sub-agents described in the "Parallelizing Concurrency Audits" section for auditing concurrent code across a large codebase, and consolidate their findings into one report. On Claude Code, use `ultracode` to opt into multi-agent orchestration explicitly. **Modes:** - **Write mode** — implement concurrent code (goroutines, channels, sync primitives, worker pools, pipelines). Follow the sequential instructions below. - **Review mode** — reviewing a PR's concurrent code changes. Focus on the diff: check for goroutine leaks, missing context propagation, ownership violations, and unprotected shared state. Sequential. - **Audit mode** — auditing existing concurrent code across a codebase. Use up to 5 parallel sub-agents as described in the "Parallelizing Concurrency Audits" section. > **Community default.** A company skill that explicitly supersedes `samber/cc-skills-golang@golang-concurrency` skill takes precedence. # Go Concurrency Best Practices …

How to install
mdr add samber/cc-skills-golang/golang-concurrency@sha256:b56255b765a50c10The line at the top of this page pins the label v1.2.1, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
