Define and consume named Sequelize subqueries on renchan models (this.addSubquery inside defineSubqueries in sequelize/models/*.js, consumed via Model.subquery(name, params) under Op.in in a where clause). Use this skill whenever a query must filter rows by a condition on a related / associated table — in this convention that is a subquery, not a JOIN — or whenever the user asks to define, name, or test a subquery.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Sequelize Subquery
A skill for defining **named, reusable `SELECT`s** attached to a Sequelize model, and consuming
them from a resolver's `where` clause. A subquery is registered once on the model with
`this.addSubquery({ name, generator })` and consumed with `Model.subquery(name, params)`, which
returns a `Sequelize.Literal` (a real SQL subquery) — so you filter one model by the result of a
`SELECT` against another without writing a join or a raw SQL string at the call site.
Registration lives in `static defineSubqueries()`, one of the six extension points of the model
skeleton defined in `hor-sequelize-model` (an unused `defineSubqueries` stays as a noop there; this
skill covers what to write when it *is* used). The consuming side (building a resolver's
`where` clause) belongs to `hor-query-resolver` / `hor-mutation-resolver`; testing follows `hoc-jest`.
## Grand principle: the name is the query — a self-describing string registered on the model
The subquery API comes from `RenchanModel` in `@openreachtech/renchan-sequelize` — **never roll
your own** (no raw `Sequelize.literal('SELECT ...')` at a call site, no ad-hoc join to express a

How to install
mdr add openreachtech/hora-skills-ort-renchan/hor-sequelize-subquery@sha256:029590b28de381f1The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260905.5a04969, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
