# CLAUDE.md This file provides guidance to Claude Code (claude.ai/code) when working with code in this repository. ## Project Rune is a single-binary Rust application that is **three things in one**, chosen at runtime: 1. **Interactive / pipe CLI** — zero-trust AI agent (default invocation `rune` / `echo ... | rune`) 2. **Concourse CI resource type** — same binary, behavior selected by `argv[0]` (`check` / `in` / `out` symlinks) 3. **Notes web server** — `rune notes` starts an embedded Axum HTTP server with collaborative Markdown UI `src/main.rs` dispatches all three modes (plus internal sandbox subcommands) before clap parses anything. How to install
mdr add fourdollars/rune/CLAUDE.md@sha256:68cbd6118baf7822The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261004.82a726b, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
