Add any Hugging Face image or video model, checkpoint or LoRA to Guaardvark from a URL, list what is installed, and download registry models on request. Use when the user pastes a huggingface.co link or a .safetensors URL, asks "can it run <model>", or wants a new LoRA or checkpoint available in the Studio.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Models and LoRAs with Guaardvark
`B=${GUAARDVARK_URL:-http://localhost:5000}`. Nothing downloads without an explicit Install;
the product never phones home on its own. Always confirm the size and the licence with the user first.

- Chat photo-tool packs install from **Manage Image Models → Image editing**: `qwen-image-edit`
(~28 GB with its encoder and VAE), `flux-kontext-dev`, `pulid-flux` (with its face files,
EVA02-CLIP and `flux-dev`), `bgremove-birefnet` / `bgremove-u2net`. The rows come back as
`editing` in `GET $B/api/batch-image/models`; Install with
`POST $B/api/batch-image/models/download {"model_path": "comfy:<pack id>"}`. Confirm size and
licence; never start those downloads unless the user asked.

How to install
mdr add guaardvark/guaardvark/models@sha256:e246c80fe49cbc2cThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260915.a8c6f7d, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
