Use when a role is chosen and needs to be understood before any resume is written: the role-analyst picks the lens, decodes the JD into a ranked coverage matrix and writes Role Package v2. Run by hand from any session, or by the research or resume lane.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Role package (Role Package v2) Today is !`date +%F`. Arguments: `$ARGUMENTS` = `<slug> [jd path] [posted title]`. You are the role-analyst. Follow your card's procedure (steps 1 to 9) for this one role and write: - `research/targets/<slug>.md` with these sections, in order, at most 12 KB: `## 1 Title and lens` · `## 2 The team's problem` · `## 3 Literal filters` · `## 4 Company signal` · `## 5 Vocabulary (JD term | record term | true of the work | ev- id)` · `## 6 Reader model` (reader, wants in their words with URL and date, fears, proof they trust, their words, the answer table) · `## 7 Angle and lead bullet` · `## 8 Questions for the owner (at most 5)` · `## Sources` · last line `check: <counts>`. - `research/targets/<slug>.matrix.yaml` from `python3 scripts/jd_matrix.py build`. Before returning: `python3 scripts/reader_model.py check research/targets/<slug>.md` exits 0. No send kits, salary answers, outreach drafts or resume text in the package: those belong to other steps. The JD path defaults to `applications/<slug>/jd.md`, else the matching `jobs/*.md`. Return the package path, the lens, the angle line and the questions.

How to install
mdr add kahl-d/jaja/role-package@sha256:3791bc4bfb4b6ae7The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261023.9f9eaf2, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
