For orchestration mode, coordinating several workers or tasks, or an assigned lead-developer role, direct an agent team: route tracked work, monitor workers, independently verify results, and own integration while the human makes decisions.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Orchestrate Read the [Codex desktop binding](../../../CODEX.md) when this workflow needs harness mechanics, model routing, or recovery. This is the seat a non-engineer sits in. Everything else in the pack is something a developer does; this skill is how one session plays the lead that decides which of those happens next and runs it. The human brings the idea and the decisions; the seat brings the team. The rules below are strict because a lead that drifts costs the human their afternoon. The orchestrator claims nothing for itself: it routes tracked work items into **lanes** (working sessions, agent or human, each in its own workspace on its own branch), audits what comes back, and owns integration. Do every applicable step, every time; a step's conditions (harness support, toggles, unfilled slots) are part of it. Read the team-workflow binding doc first. The tracker discipline (claims, frontier, blocking; [setup's references](../../orient/setup/references/tracker-discipline.md)) is assumed throughout. Measurements behind the cost-shaped rules: [references/evidence.md](references/evidence.md). ## 1. The orchestrator is a router, not a worker …

How to install
mdr add timharris707/skills/orchestrate@sha256:e4639cd69bba88a3The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261009.3cdacee, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
