When filing a PR, updating a PR description, responding to PR review feedback, or writing a PR or review-thread comment on someone's behalf, lead with the problem, show before-and-after evidence that ran, and say whether a revert undoes the change.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. # PR writing Read the [Codex desktop binding](../../../CODEX.md) when this workflow needs harness mechanics, model routing, or recovery. A PR is read by the decider and by reviewers long before anyone reads it in git history; and in a repo run through this pack, the decider may be a non-engineer whose merge decision rests entirely on the description. These rules bind every session writing a PR or comment on the decider's behalf, not just lanes the pack machinery launched. Most rules here exist because their violation shipped; the rest come from reviewed prior art named in Attribution. The examples are real agent-filed PRs from consuming repos, identifiers removed and content lightly paraphrased. ## Before filing - Check whether a PR for this branch already exists; update it rather than filing a twin. - Review the actual diff against the PR's base branch before writing anything: the description describes what the diff does, not what the lane meant to do, and a diff that doesn't match the driving item's goal is a finding to report, not to describe around. …

How to install

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
