## Step 2 — Detect complexity
Before answering, classify the question:
**Simple** (fast lane → skip to Step 4):
- One option to evaluate (go/no-go, yes/no)
- Task selection ("what to work on next?")
- Urgency ("should I do X now or later?")
**Complex** (ask first):
- 2+ named alternatives (A vs B vs C)
- Strategic direction (which product area, which market, which architecture)
- Multi-criteria with real trade-offs (cost vs speed vs quality)
- High stakes, hard to reverse
For **complex** questions, surface the right framework before answering:

How to install
mdr add martineserios/thebrana/decide@sha256:1fd2bebc7c5125caThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260812.579b97d, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
