Create a new NeuroWorkflow node (NEST / TVB / Brian2 / custom computation) following the NODE_CREATION_GUIDE.md conventions, then generate the file. Use when the user wants to build or add a workflow node.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. # Create NeuroWorkflow Node Guide the user through creating a new node following the NODE_CREATION_GUIDE.md conventions, then generate the file. ## Environment Detection (do this first, before anything else) Determine the output path using this priority order: 1. **User-specified folder** — if the user has indicated a folder (e.g. `my_nodes/`, `./nodes/`, or any path), always use it. The user's choice overrides everything. 2. **Repo sandbox** — if `src/neuroworkflow/nodes/sandbox/` exists relative to the current directory and the user has not specified a folder, use it as the default output. 3. **`./nodes/`** — fallback if neither of the above applies. Create the folder if it does not exist. Similarly, determine the source code path: - Use the folder the user indicates as their existing source code. - If none indicated and repo structure exists, browse `src/neuroworkflow/nodes/` for reference. - Otherwise skip browsing existing nodes. Read `NODE_CREATION_GUIDE.md` from: - The repo root if repo structure is detected. - The current directory if present in standalone mode. - Skip stage guidance if not found anywhere. …

How to install

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
