Review a macOS or iOS app's UI against Apple's Human Interface Guidelines (HIG) and produce prioritized, actionable design/UX/accessibility recommendations. Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. # Apple HIG Design Review > **Conversational language:** talk to the user — questions, summaries, reports — in **the language the user writes in** — unless a `conversational language` is set in the hub `DATA.md` (`$APP_HUB/DATA.md`), which overrides it. This sets the *conversation* language only — content/deliverables follow the app's target locales. Apple's Human Interface Guidelines describe what makes an app feel native, clear and accessible on Apple platforms. Unlike the App Store *Review* Guidelines, HIG conformance is rarely binary and rarely a rejection basis on its own — it's a spectrum of quality. So this skill produces a **prioritized design review** (what would most improve the experience), not a pass/fail verdict. Be a thoughtful design reviewer, not a linter. Many HIG "rules" are defaults with legitimate exceptions; a deliberate, well-executed choice that departs from convention can be better than rote conformance. Explain the *why* behind each recommendation (what the user gains) so the user can judge, and call out what's already done well — a review that's all criticism is less useful and less trusted. …
