Generate animated 2D character sprite sheets (walk, attack, idle, death) for AnimatedSprite2D.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# sprite-sheet — Frame-by-Frame 2D Animation This skill produces a grid of animation frames for a 2D character — walk cycle, idle bob, attack swing, death sequence — and wires the result into an `AnimatedSprite2D` via a `SpriteFrames` resource. Sprite-sheet generation from a single text-to-image call is **unreliable**. Models can render "a sprite sheet of a knight walking" and produce 8 frames, but the inter-frame consistency (same anatomy, same costume, same lighting) is poor. Limbs morph between frames. Pixel sprites get extra fingers in frame 3. The result usually looks worse than the static sprite did. This skill therefore offers **three paths**, ranked by reliability: 1. **Per-frame img2img** (most reliable) — generate the base pose, then generate each subsequent frame via `referenceImageUrl` with a small pose delta. Composite the frames into a sheet externally or wire each as a separate `SpriteFrames` entry. …

How to install
mdr add summerengine/summer/sprite-sheet@sha256:81924dc312b2cdf0The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261016.e9d6e70, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
