Use when a company, job or offer raises a work-authorization question (sponsorship wording, E-Verify, I-983, remote worksite, start date), when the owner needs the sponsorship answer script, weekly to refresh legal/timers.md, or when the owner's current employment ends (departure).
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Visa check Owner: legal-visa (card `agents/legal-visa.md`). Tier: T1 (writes `legal/`; in `departure` mode also workspace tickets, one `kind: official` outbox draft with its approval request, and the visa allowance in `clock.yaml`). Keeps the owner in status under the work-authorization route the user configured (for example STEM OPT): clocks, per-employer checks, offer reviews, employment-end duties. Information only, never legal advice. Modes: `timers`, `company <slug>`, `offer <application slug>`, `script`, `departure`. Today is !`date +%F`. ## Inputs 1. The rulings the hook printed, and the user's policy config (`policy.*`) for the work-authorization stance. 2. The rules notes the user keeps for their route (the workspace's knowledge pages on STEM OPT / F-1 rules and the case page; note their `updated` dates; a fact marked "to confirm" stays "to confirm"). 3. `python3 scripts/clock.py status --json --today <run date>`. 4. How to install

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
