Verify a change to a Windows desktop app by running it and checking its real UI with Pointframe's desktop-testing tools, then report a signed proof instead of a claim. Use after changing a WPF, WinForms, Win32 or other Windows desktop app, or when asked to prove that a desktop feature works.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Verify your desktop work with Pointframe Use this after you change a Windows desktop app: run the app, check the change in its real UI, and return a signed proof instead of a claim. Pointframe takes the screenshots, evaluates the checks, and signs the report. You only ask; you never write the result. There are two ways to get that proof. The first needs no MCP client restart and is the fastest way to a first passing proof in a project that has none. The second gives you interactive tools to explore and check the running app step by step. Start with the first; use the second when you need it. ## Short path for coding agents <!-- short-path:begin --> Run everything from the project root, in an interactive, unlocked Windows desktop session. 1. Install the CLI (skip this if `pointframe --version` works). Run this one line as it is, in one tool call; it works from Bash and from PowerShell: ``` …

How to install
mdr add dimitar-radenkov/pointframe/verify-desktop-work@sha256:cb9db945d09d0631The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261024.857b3d3, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
