Make THIS session quiet: `/brigade:quiet` (or `/brigade:quiet on`) stops it taking team messages — Brigade holds them for the user's own `brigade inbox release` — and sets its roster line to say so; `--to <where>` names where teammates should write instead, `--refuse` turns messages away rather than holding them. `/brigade:quiet off` returns the session to normal; `/brigade:quiet status` shows the policy in force and how many messages wait. Only this session changes: no option, no settings…

Three things make it so, and all three are this session's alone: Brigade's inbound policy for this one session, this session's roster line, and a standing instruction to you for the rest of the conversation. `$ARGUMENTS` is what came after `/brigade:quiet`: typed by the user, or passed by you when they asked in words and you loaded this skill. 1. How to install
mdr add appshapes/brigade/quiet@sha256:c2eef73a715958b6The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261022.af82f41, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
