Model the app's data with @data-client schemas, which normalize responses into one shared cache so an update shows everywhere. Use it whenever an endpoint returning data is added or its response changes (resource, RestEndpoint, GraphQL, Endpoint), when the data's shape changes, when deriving views from loaded data, or when one item looks different in two places. Covers Entity, GQLEntity, Collection, Union and Query.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. ## 1. Defining Schemas
Compose [schemas](references/schema.md) to match the JSON an endpoint returns. Import them from the protocol package
the app uses (`@data-client/rest`, `@data-client/graphql` or `@data-client/endpoint`; both protocol packages re-export
endpoint). For GraphQL, extend `GQLEntity` instead of `Entity`; it declares the `id` field used as `pk()`.

How to install
mdr add reactive/data-client/data-client-schema@sha256:cd4f41defc32c181The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261023.c4091aa, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
