Draft quarterly goals for a PostHog team (defaults to Feature Flags), clustering open issues into themes and producing goals in PostHog's HOGS format. Use when planning a new quarter's objectives.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Quarterly Planning Help a PostHog team (the **Feature Flags** team by default) draft its quarterly goals. The skill gathers the user's supporting documents (RFCs, strategy docs, Slack threads), mines open issues across the team's labels, clusters them into themes, reflects on last quarter, walks PostHog's HOGS framework, and drafts objectives in the handbook's goal format ready to paste into a posthog.com goals PR. This follows PostHog's goal-setting process: <https://posthog.com/handbook/company/goal-setting>. Read it if you need the cadence and rationale; the relevant mechanics are inlined below. ## Team Configuration All team-specific values live in `scripts/config.sh`. The helper script sources it automatically; the inline `gh` commands here source it too, so run them with the leading `source` line shown. The defaults target the **Feature Flags** team: | Variable | Default | Meaning | | --- | --- | --- | | `QPLAN_ORG` | `PostHog` | GitHub org | | `QPLAN_REPO` | `PostHog/posthog` | Repo whose issues are mined | | `QPLAN_TEAM_SLUG` | `team-feature-flags` | GitHub team slug (members API) | | `QPLAN_TEAM_NAME` | `Feature Flags` | Display name used in prose | …

How to install
mdr add haacked/dotfiles/quarterly-planning@sha256:8abed0cdc6477180The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260827.66fa08c, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
