Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. # Confluence from the shell, when MCP servers are disabled
`confluence.py` is a self-contained client for the Confluence REST API — the sibling
of [jira-cli](../jira-cli/SKILL.md), same env-file mechanism, same `--json` convention,
same escape hatch. **Python 3.8+, standard library only**: no curl, no jq, no
`pip install`, identical on Windows (no WSL), macOS and Linux.

## 1. One-time setup
The token lives in `~/.claude/confluence.env` — outside every repo, so the same PAT is
reusable across all your projects and cannot be committed by accident:

How to install
mdr add victorrentea/petclinic/confluence-cli@sha256:be725080786b4406The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260923.4813a6b, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
