Review documentation and PRs for federal compliance claims (FedRAMP, NIST, OWASP, Section 508) and flag uncited or overclaimed statements — without asserting compliance itself.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Skill: Compliance Claim Checker
Review documentation, READMEs, and pull-request text for **federal compliance
claims** — statements asserting alignment with FedRAMP, NIST (SP 800-53, AI RMF,
SSDF), OWASP, Section 508, or similar — and flag claims that are **uncited** or
**overclaimed**.

## When to Use
- Reviewing a README, doc, or PR that claims compliance ("FedRAMP authorized",
"meets NIST 800-53", "508 compliant", "OWASP Top 10 covered")
- Before publishing federal-facing documentation that references standards
- When an author cites a framework and you need to confirm the citation is real,
current, and not overstated
## When NOT to Use
- To *decide* whether a system is compliant — that is an assessor / authorizing
official function, not this skill's
- As evidence for an ATO package

How to install
mdr add gsa-tts/agentic-coding-patterns/compliance-claim-checker@sha256:39e02eb897e17163The line at the top of this page pins the label v1.0.0, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
