Routes a job-search task to the right specialists in the job-hunter family, then owns the shared per-user workspace and merges member output into one coherent result. Use when the user wants to run a job search, find a job, find jobs, openings, positions, or work, manage an end-to-end job hunt, apply to roles and track applications, do several job-search steps at once (find jobs and tailor a resume and track applications), or export, import, back up, or restore their job-hunter workspace…
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# job-hunter (family orchestrator) Routes a job-search task to the right family specialists, owns the shared `.job-hunter/` per-user workspace, and merges member output into one coherent result. This is the router for the job-hunter family. ## Why an orchestrator A real job hunt is rarely one step. Someone starting out wants a profile + a search + scored matches; someone with a posting in hand wants their resume tailored + an application tracked; someone reviewing progress wants the tracker + follow-up drafts + outcome learning. Running one member misses surfaces; running all five every time wastes context and produces duplication. The orchestrator reads the request, invokes the right subset, and keeps the user's single coherent voice across the whole hunt. ## The family (members + their jobs) | Member | Job | Produces | |---|---|---| | `career-profile` | Set up the North-Star profile + parse the resume | `.job-hunter-profile.md` + parsed resume | | `job-search` | Find, expand, normalize, dedupe, and score postings | scored `postings.json` | …

How to install
mdr add wexxwuther/job-hunter/job-hunter@sha256:424c48417ce790d4The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261018.c01d73c, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
