Use when putting a containerized service on Hetzner Cloud with OpenTofu — a VM per environment, Cloud Firewall, private network, hardened cloud-init, Docker Compose with Traefik TLS, deploys by image digest, backups with a restore drill.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. # Deploy to Hetzner
One VM per environment, hardened by cloud-init, serving a Compose stack behind Traefik. The image, the compose files and the deploy script all ship through the same reviewed pipeline. Contract: [environments.md](../_shared/environments.md), [deploy-script.md](../_shared/deploy-script.md).

Read from the profile: `hosting` (must list `hetzner`), `iac` (opentofu), `database.host`, `ci`. If there is no profile, detect from the `infra/` and `deploy/` trees above. Never ask what the profile already answers.

How to install

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
