Bootstraps or audits a repository's documentation architecture — root AGENTS.md, canonical tree, catalog, config registry, and plan lifecycle. Also runs owner-started assessment and remediation of archived plans and specs, classifying each as harvested, partial, or not harvested and grouping docs-dev fixes into a batch delivered as a pull request. Use when setting up documentation for a new or existing repo, auditing whether docs match a standard, mentioning config registry, documentation…
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Documentation architecture, onboarding, and assessment Sets up or audits the *system* that keeps a repo's documentation trustworthy for both humans and agents: one canonical home per fact, a lookup layer so instructions don't hardcode project details, and a lifecycle that migrates in-progress decisions into permanent docs instead of losing them. This is architecture-level. If the task is writing or updating one component's actual docs (README, onboarding, architecture, requirements), that's a narrower job — check whether this repo already has an `app-docs-standard`-style skill for that and use it instead of duplicating its content here. ## Three modes **Bootstrap** — the repo has little or no structured documentation. Scaffold the minimum viable version of the architecture below, adapted to this project's name and stack. Read [references/templates.md](references/templates.md) for the file skeletons; don't write 300-line documents on day one — start minimal and let it grow. …

How to install
mdr add dpalfery/kyber-weave/kyber-docs-onboarding-and-assessment@sha256:dbc4f4bcc5bc12c3The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261031.046ca6a, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
