Generate conformant Kyber-Weave frontmatter for repository documentation so that docs validate and docs drift pass. Use when a document fails a KW-DOC-SPEC or KW-DOC-DRIFT rule, when retrofitting an existing documentation tree after kyber-weave docs init, or when authoring a new governed document — including a todo or a coding standard — and you must choose doc-type, status, component, technology, source-root, and code-refs. Not for editing prose or style, authoring SKILL.md skills, or writing…
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Authoring Kyber-Weave documentation Your job is to make a Markdown document **conformant**: correct frontmatter, honest claims about code, and a `doc-type` that matches what the document actually is. Verify with the tool, never by eye: ```bash kyber-weave docs validate . kyber-weave docs drift . ``` ## Required frontmatter Every governed document needs all six base keys: ```yaml --- id: docgraph/architecture # permanent, unique slug; others reference this title: DocGraph architecture doc-type: architecture # closed vocabulary — see below status: current # closed vocabulary — see below owner: dpalfery # MUST already exist in <docs-root>/catalog.md last-reviewed: 2026-08-01 # ISO yyyy-MM-dd, no other format --- ``` **doc-type** and **status** are closed sets. Read both, and the required-key matrix, from the document named by `<documentation-ontology>` in the Config Reg. `docs init` writes that file from the host's ontology, so a list copied into this skill goes stale the next time a type is added. That is how `todo` and `coding-standard` were omitted here, and how an agent then labelled a coding …

How to install
mdr add dpalfery/kyber-weave/kyber-docs-authoring@sha256:431cdccf03178830The line at the top of this page pins the label v0.1.4, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
