Plan and build agents, apps, or harnesses with You.com Search, Contents, Research, Finance, and other agentic resources found through the `you-discover` tool. Use when designing an integration — inference provider, BYOK local harness, agent behind MCP, SDK or direct-API app, or plugin for an existing agent — not when answering a question with web search.

# You.com Integration Planning Use this skill to plan something that will be *built* with You.com APIs and other agentic resources: an inference provider embedding Search and Contents, a local harness where users bring their own key (Jan.ai- or AnythingLLM-style), an agent exposed behind an MCP server, an SDK or direct-API application, or a plugin for an existing agent host. The deliverable is a decisions record an implementer — human or agent — can build from. Do not use this skill to answer a question with web search; that belongs to the `you-web` and `you-research` skills. This skill may *plan* integrations that call those APIs, and it uses search itself as planning evidence. ## Required resources Check for these before planning. How to install

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
