tdd SKILL.md skillA
This file is byte-identical to the first copy the registry indexed. Same content hash, so the same checks give both the same grade.
tdd from p2p2sp/viber is an agent skill: a SKILL.md folder an AI agent loads when a task calls for it.
mdr add p2p2sp/viber/tdd@git:20260924.1101a9bPins git:20260924.1101a9b in mdr.lock. Pin the fingerprint instead.

Test-Driven Development discipline expert. Use for a plan task marked `TDD: required`, or when the user explicitly asks for test-first work. Enforces Red-Green-Refactor (iron law: no production code without a failing test first - violations are deleted and restarted), mandatory VERIFY-RED and VERIFY-GREEN checkpoints, no horizontal slicing, and a per-cycle stop-condition checklist. Triggers include "TDD", "test first", "red-green-refactor", "RGR". Do NOT use for a task marked `TDD: none`, for…
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Test-Driven Development ## Overview Write the test first. Watch it fail. Write the minimal code that passes. Refactor. **Core principle:** if you didn't watch the test fail, you don't know whether it tests the right thing. **Violating the letter of the rule is violating the spirit of the rule.** ## Iron Law **NO PRODUCTION CODE WITHOUT A FAILING TEST FIRST.** Production code that exists before a failing test for it MUST be deleted in its entirety - no keeping it as reference, no adapting it line-by-line, no "just looking at it" while writing the test, no exceptions. The only way back to compliance is **delete-then-restart**: drop the unguarded code, write the failing test, watch it fail for the right reason, then rewrite the production code minimally to turn the test green. Applies to every production language and every layer (backend, frontend, infrastructure, scripts) - whether adding, changing, fixing, or restoring behavior. ## Red-Green-Refactor cycle (mandatory) Execute the cycle in this exact order for each delivered behavior. **VERIFY RED** and **VERIFY GREEN** are part of the cycle, not optional sanity checks - skipping either invalidates the work. …

How to install
mdr add p2p2sp/viber/tdd@sha256:13ca410faa16eaa9The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260924.1101a9b, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
