# Prep pack for one round

Owner: prep-coach (rubrics in `agents/prep-coach.md`). Tier: T1. Due 24 h before the round, 48 h
before a final. Today is !`date +%F`. Runs by hand in any session (the prep lane, the Recruiter's,
a plain chat); no lane needs to be open.

## Inputs
`prep/packs/_TEMPLATE.md` (the shape), `prep/questions.yaml` (the cited question bank),
`prep/stories/*.md` (STAR stories with evidence ids and "Do not say" lists),
`applications/SLUG/application.md` (round, time, format, interviewers), `jd.md`, `fit.md`, the
submitted variant in `resumes/variants/SLUG/`, `companies/<company>.md`, `profile/PROFILE.md`,
earlier debriefs in `prep/debriefs/` for the company, the legal-visa answer scripts in `legal/`,
standing rulings in `hub/rulings.yaml`.

## Procedure
1. Work from the user's data folder; first
   `python3 scripts/prep_focus.py SLUG` (read only): the focus, the story to tell, up to ten bank questions
   for that focus and the Reader model's wants; exit 1 means no application record (ask the Recruiter, stop).

How to install

The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261023.9f9eaf2, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved.
