How the agents plugin works — the commands, the flow from setup to daily use, what an agent is made of, and fixes for common problems. Use /agents:help, or /agents:help <command> for one command.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. If `$ARGUMENTS` names a command, read `${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/skills/<command>/SKILL.md` (if the variable is empty, glob `~/.claude/plugins/cache/*/agents/*/skills/<command>/SKILL.md` and take the highest version; in copied mode use `.claude/skills/agents/skills/<command>/SKILL.md`). Print its `description` and `argument-hint`, then explain what it does in five lines or fewer, in plain words. Stop.

# Agents — quick guide
An **agent** is a named, persistent collaborator that lives in this repo as markdown files. It keeps its own memory, its own action tracker, and a level of autonomy you set. You start it by name and it becomes that agent for the session.

How to install
mdr add normannoble/goagentic/help@sha256:1a63a97f055a5a42The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261012.558a071, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
