Generate video through OpenProxy's async `/v1/videos/*` routes — submit a text-to-video or image-to-video job, poll the returned `request_id` to completion, and download the MP4. Covers the xAI / OpenRouter / Vertex video providers, the per-account cooldown and rotation rules, and the `openproxy media video` CLI that drives the whole flow. Use whenever the user asks to create a video, animate an image, wire a video model into OpenProxy, or debug a stuck or failed video job.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. # openproxy-video — async video generation
Video is the only OpenProxy endpoint family that is **two-phase**. `POST /v1/videos/generations` returns a job id in ~1 second; the MP4 does not exist yet. You must `GET /v1/videos/{id}` until the job reaches a terminal state, then fetch the file from the URL in the finished payload. Treating the create response as the video is the single most common mistake.
Video routes live in `src/server/api/media.rs` and are registered in `src/server/api/mod.rs:220-261`.

How to install
mdr add quangdang46/openproxy/openproxy-video@sha256:3afd98dbfe77f794The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260928.5199045, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
