# Subagent-Driven Development
Execute plan by dispatching a fresh implementer subagent per task, a task review (spec compliance against the UML design model + code quality) after each, and a broad whole-branch review at the end.
**Why subagents:** You delegate tasks to specialized agents with isolated context. By precisely crafting their instructions and context, you ensure they stay focused and succeed at their task. They should never inherit your session's context or history — you construct exactly what they need. This also preserves your own context for coordination work.
**Core principle:** Fresh subagent per task + task review (spec against the UML design model + quality) + broad final review = high quality, fast iteration

The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260915.fa26601, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
