Use when a queued application's company dossier is missing or older than 30 days, before an interview round, when the owner names a company, a role or a referral target to research (the target package), or when prospector needs public people to reach at a target company.

# Research a company Owner: company-researcher (card `agents/company-researcher.md`). Tier: T0 research; writes `companies/<slug>.md`, its history copy, dated evidence snapshots, a Role Package's company signal when asked, and person-first case files. So the owner never applies or interviews blind. Today is !`date +%F`. ## Inputs 1. Department `AGENTS.md`, the workflow document's research section; the rulings the hook printed. 2. The trigger: `applications/SLUG/fit.md` and `jd.md`, a Role Package request, a prep-coach refresh, or a company or person the owner or the Recruiter names. 3. `companies/<slug>.md` if it exists (refresh stale sections; never restart one). 4. `targets/companies.yaml` (entry, `segment`, `h1b_names`), `targets/segments/<segment>.md`, `research/ai-ml-market-2026.md`, `state/review/news-watch-<date>.md`. 5. `profile/PROFILE.md`, `profile/evidence.yaml` and the corpus READMEs the angles need. ## Outputs - `companies/<slug>.md`: frontmatter and body sections in the card's `## Outputs` order, every line ending `[n]`, `## Sources` with URL or local path, title, access date; `last_researched` set. …

How to install

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved.
